The future of CSF... (maybe)

 

In case my handwriting is hard to read, here's what everything says:

So recently, when it comes to CSF, I haven't been very happy with it lately. Not mad, more sad.

So back within the first few days of this month, I rediscovered Color Soul's creator on this chat service called Telegram. And it was all okay up until around a few weeks ago. I sent them messages, but they won't respond. The worst part is, I have no fucking clue what's keeping them from responding. Which leads me to jumping to conclusions, even to some pretty bad ones.

The scary truth is, I may not ever get in touch with them again. Man, I just want to cry just knowing that...

And you're probably wondering, "Techno, what exactly does this have to do with CSF?" Well, since the person I've been worrying my ass off at is Color Soul's creator, and some of our friends just happen to be the creators of most of the other characters, I just cannot help but not want to think about this project, because it will remind me of this stupid mess, and will make me want to worry.

I'm just honestly at the point where I wish I don't want to be a part of this project. I just want to forget about it. You're probably also wondering, "Techno, don't you still have art to upload?" Sadly, yes, that's true. So I will try my hardest to get everything uploaded here, until I have nothing else to upload.

If this mess gets an update:

If it's a positive update, then I will continue to make art and other content for CSF.

But if it's a negative update, then I will put CSF on a hiatus, and probably call it quits, meaning end this project for good. 

It's too bad though, because I liked bringing back this project, and I liked drawing the characters way back when, in the days of 2017 and 2018. Sure, I did make a lot of art of these characters (especially Color Soul...), and the fact I've known these characters longer than I've known the Console Ponies is really something as well.

I wish I didn't have to think of CSF this way, but sadly that's just how my brain works. :(

So if there ends up being an update (either positive or negative, or surprisingly both) then I'll post about it on this blog. Until then, take my sad and clueless rambling of a post.

Something I'm scared about with this project

Okay, so a lot of the OCs that are used for Color Soul 'n' Friends obviously aren't mine. And I'm scared that someday, one or more of the original creators are going to find this blog and are gonna be pissed with me.

But I have properly credited the original creators before. And if necessary, I will continue to do so, except for my ponysona and Charity because I created them.

And trust me, I have seen art thiefs and other stealers claiming stuff as their own when really they steal other people's art and characters. I know not to do that, because not only can I properly make art, but I also know it's bad and can get you in big trouble.

And I promise not to wreak these characters as well (meaning drawing NSFW out of them, or killing them off)

So there's a little heads up here. ^^

Update about the last post

So it turns out the CS (Color Soul) creator was just very busy. So CSF will be kept afterall. ^^

Important update

 Hey y'all, so I have an update regarding to this project.

So I recently rediscovered Color Soul's creator on this chatting service called Telegram. Needless to say, I was happy when I rediscovered them, because for unknown reasons, they haven't been submitting anything to DeviantArt since September 2019. 

So we chatted here and there for a few days. I got to asking them about the Console Ponies, and if they have a favorite Console pony. But apparently, they hadn't responded to my question at all. It's now been 2 days. I don't know if they're overly busy, or they are doing something suspicious behind my back, or they don't want to talk to me anymore. I wish I knew, and if this whole thing started because of one of the above reasons, I really hope it's the first one. And I'm now starting to believe that I think I got ghosted. 😞 (I know getting ghosted is more of a online dating thing, but it exists in other online communications too.)

And what does this have to do with CSF? Well, here's the thing. If this turns out to be that they don't want to be my friend anymore, then that means I would have to cancel this project because it would be disrespectful to include someone else's OCs in something you created, since if you and that person can't get along. So the point is, why would I bother with one of my friend's OCs in a project I made, if we do end up ending our friendship? So if CSF does come to an end, then that would be the reason. Just a head's up if this does end up happening! 😉

And I've still got art I still have to post, so those will still be posted, regardless if the project have been concluded or not.

Just to let you know...

Okay, I know that a lot of the OCs in this project (expect for Pony Jaylynn and Charity) AREN'T mine... I made up Color Soul 'n' Friends because I just LOVE these characters. But are they mine? Expect for the 2 mentioned above, NO!

I made this project for fun. I didn't think it was going to get this far in time (and I didn't expect a 2020 revival) but much like what my bestie and I are doing with the Console Ponies (another project I involved with). What do the 2 have in common? Ponies, characters mostly not owned by us, and I work on them. 

Most of the CSF characters we're created by ColorSoul-Drawz (formerly ColorSoulMLP) (Color Soul, Trinity, Paradoxic, Dull Soul, Garrison, etc.), Bijou-Le-Kitty (Nightlight, Pipi-Chan and Andie) and Galaxy-R0S3S. (Cotton Candy)

Lemon Splashes and Galaxy Glisten belong to SongbirdSerenade.

Sketch Pad belongs to Paladin360.

And Cerulean Diamond and Honey Bubble belong to a long lost family member of mine. (Long story... Also, Honey actually belongs to a friend of hers. Both Cerulean and Honey were drawn by that same friend. I just gave Cerulean a eye color, cutie mark, tail and name. Because the family member's friend never gave said features to that pony. Honey Bubble was drawn in full though.)

I'm sorry for any possible trouble with this project. ;~; I swear this was made for fun!!
